What do you health insurance professionals feel about combining a high deductible HSA with a lump sum critical illness policy?
The HSA is used to cover basic medical expenses and grows tax deferred. However, if one is diagnosed with a catastrophic illness the lump sum critical illness policy would then pay a lump sum benefit that pays the deductible on the health insurance and provides funds through the elimination period of a disability insurance policy. You might even want to sell an accident policy to those with less than perfect motor skills...
Would this be described as the "health insurance ultimate arbitrage concept"? |
